 Meet Dr. Rena

I believe we all have the ability to heal our own body, but I didn't always think this way...

When going through my share of health issues, I felt like my body and I were at war. I was frustrated at how incompetent and weak my body was.  I kept looking for solutions, supplements to take, healers to see, strict food regimes,  I started controlling more and more, as my body became sicker.

Finally, after years of struggling, I came to the realization that my body was protecting itself.  We had become two estranged partners.  It had  listened to EVERYTHING I told it ( how it wasn't good enough, strong enough, it didn't know how to heal) ... and it wasn't happy.

I had to make a change.

So I tried something different.  I became friends with my body.  I started to feed my body foods it was asking for, love and appreciate it, and to speak to my body daily,  I listened to how it changed daily, what its thoughts and fears and programs were.

As my relationship grew with my body, my view changed. I realized my body fiercely protects me when I am in danger, gives me strength when I am weak, shines when I am kind to it, and my body is an intelligent self-healing organism.

Most importantly, I  learned how what we feel impacts our own health and wellbeing.

Over the years I have developed a focus on mental & emotional health, as well as balancing the biochemistry of the body (including hormones) .  I have learned that mood, mental state, and emotions all affect the physical body (ex: hormones, immunity, fertility, gut health).  For this reason, I have a unique approach to healing alongside Naturopathic medicine.

When you address ALL aspects of a person, healing becomes quick and easy.  You create new beliefs, your nervous system rewires, and you let go of old emotions.  Supplements, herbs, diet, and acupuncture all work better and the body returns back to its original blueprint of health and wellbeing in weeks.

You become the BEST version of yourself!

I graduated from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) in 2008.

I am part of:
